Amerant Bank was founded in 1979 as Commercebank N.A. in North Miami Beach, Florida and currently headquartered in Coral Gables, FL.
In January of 2021, responding to growing demand for residential mortgages in the midst of Florida’s booming residential real estate market, Amerant Bank, N.A. (“Amerant”), one of the largest community banks headquartered in Florida, announced the formation of Amerant Mortgage, LLC.
At Amerant Mortgage, now a wholly owned subsidiary of Amerant Bank, we believe in building a team that is as dedicated and passionate about helping people achieve their homeownership dreams as we are. Our small, close-knit team is backed by the strength and stability of a trusted bank, offering a unique blend of personalized service, stability in a volatile market and financial security.
